If anything, the attempted smear campaign from these leaks should push people closer to voting for Clinton. There's no new revelation to be gleaned from the emails to date. It should go without saying that the DNC preferred a highly qualified, long-time party figure as their candidate to someone who didn't even identify as a Democrat until he decided to run for President. Clinton would be a strong candidate in any other election year. It just so happens that anti-establishment sentiments have reached a fever pitch on both sides of the aisle with this election and people are thinking less about the long-term repercussions of their voting decisions (see Brexit).
The leaks are obviously a ploy from Putin in hopes of getting some of Sanders supporters to vote based on emotion rather than pragmatism. Trump has had some very kind words for Putin and the Russian leader would love to have an American President as cringe-worthy as himself.

The DNC still made a joke of the election with their actions. You know why there's an anti-establishment sentiment in the first place? Because we've realized that the establishment doesn't have the best interests for the people. The establishment wants to restrict and oppress. And sure, Hillary's got the experience but we all know she's part of the establishment too. It's very telling that all these radical ideologies are surfacing and people are pushing for them. And you're right, some of these decisions are impulsive and very emotional but if we continue to let things slide by things are never going to change. Fear-mongering has got to stop and the truth has got to come out.
