This is what people don't get about her. They call her music trash and criticize her lyrics when Katy has almost the same type of music and gets praised. Meghan is basically a younger Katy with more of a retro sound, ATRL does way too much on Meghan.

i never got why people called her music trash. she is an INCREDIBLE songwriter and critics love her. i think it mostly just stems from the fact that she gets played a lot and people got sick of her so they started to call her trash.

I sometimes wonder if people (ATRL in particular) would still hate on her if she looked anything like Taylor or Katy (tall and skinny). Had Katy sang Me Too, they wouldn't be saying sh*t like : "wow this song is pretentious".

People calling Meghan fat just proves to us how hateful our society is. And plus, she's not even fat. People are just so f****** jealous that she's had this much success and they actually spend so much time trying to dig up anything that can be used to drag her, when honestly, theres really nothing. Glad theres a few of us here on ATRL that don't spend time hating on so called "fat" people. Adele isn't fat either, but she's larger than Meghan, and no one ever brings it up.

That's because Adele sings "sad" and pseudo deep songs, happy/tongue-in-cheek songs can only be sang by skinny good looking people, women who doesn't look like magazine models can't and shouldn't flaunt their joy after all it's not in the natural order of things...
