Asians do get dragged for bleaching, especially by black Americans, and especially when it comes to Indians. On LSA, every topic about Indians turns into a discussion about skin color.

The caste system isn't just Indian and it's not based on skin color. The vast majority of the Indian immigrants you see in the US are dark-skinned and they're mostly "forward" caste.

False. All the colorism in Asia predates European colonialism. But yes, there is a racial element involved in many parts because Asians aren't a race and lighter Asians are often different racially like in South Asia.

No, it's an Asian male thing too. Relatively light men (but not too pale) are considered attractive.
