That's something that's in the book and so is the latter. If those "radicals" are killing people for not abiding the religion they wouldn't do it for no reason, so why would they kill the people whose faith is the strongest just to prove themselves or whatever your justification is?

If they're even remotely following the religion they wouldn't kill people in mosques

Religion isn't inherently "normal" though, I feel like most people can't really compartmentalize the picking and choosing of the Bible/Quran/Other books and the loose interpretations of words causes all of these sects and radicalism to occur.

Sure, we can wish that everyone just did their own thing, practiced their own religion and be peaceful but the system is built to fail if the material themselves promote violence/racism/biases/etc. In my opinion, religion looseness allows people to become monsters and hide under the veil of their religion. Religious leaders are the ones who need to step up and say "this is wrong" to put an end to the violence.

It was in the street and we don't have checkpoint in France. I mean i was outside tonight in the street too and i would never thought a truck could come at me like that. I guess military think the same thing.
