I like it.
I love what you did with the smoke/powder, I just wish it was better quality. Same with the birds.
The other elements are good, they fit with each other.
The cutting was done nicely, which could be very difficult for a first-time Photoshop user.
The fonts are appealing and fit well with everything, the 5 is also nice.
Overall this is a strong entry with only one minor error.

This has a lot of potential to be the great banner. But what disappointed me is that the pictures you used. Those animals and that Neyde-Britney wasn't necessary, to be honest. It just ruins the aspect of how banner should be. That horn(?) was so out of the place. But If It is meant to be on cat's head, do it properly. I can see how terribly placed on cat's head. Imagine the banner with those sparkles(blue and pink) and without those pictures, the result would be so beautiful.

The fonts are kinda awkwardly placed. If you cut out the girls, it would look kinda messy.
Also the effect in ‚ATRL‘ looks kinda cheap.
Overall I wish you did more with the fonts, maybe have something written in a different one.
The girls are very nicely cut out but they’re kinda random with the bear and the leopard.
Although I do like how they have the same lighting and color effect, so they do not look out of place to each other.
Overall it is not a bad banner at all, I just wish it was more dramatic.

I love the fonts and how they look but the overall positioning just doesn't sit quite right for me. Also personally I prefer more bright colors and freshness than different layer blends or filters (or at least I like to keep them at the minimum possible percentage). That said, the overall cohesiveness is cute.

No Darling, No! Everything is so out of the place. You need to practice more on Gradient effects on Text because it look so difficult to read on dark background, for example. I feel like the inculsion of these popstars(?) is just very weird. Just wrong placement. What's with the leopard(?)

I like it! Specially if you made the background all by yourself. I like the fonts you chose and the theme you went for and the color combination works well too. Just not a fan of that last 'P' and I feel like 'The' & 'Game' would have looked better had they not overlapped 'Photoshop' except for that 'G' maybe which looks cool.

I love this. The summer-y feeling with everything. This is how banners should be. I am really impressed. Looking forward to the rest of your work in future. My only criticism in there is that "The Game" would look better in the same style as the "Photoshop" but smaller. You will have a point off because the "Season 5" is weirdly off in term of placement. It would look so much better in center. But other than that, it could turn out to be one of the potential to be banner of S5.

The banner is more simple without a background except the X which adds a cool effect to the banner.
The thing that bugs me is the coloring of ‚Dom‘ it would have looked better in blue. I would’ve liked to see the ‚Hosted by‘ and ‚Season 5‘ font being white with a black edge like you did in the photoshop font.

Great text effects and good choice of fonts. I would have just liked it more if the colors were balanced nicely. And maybe instead of "X" had you formed a "V" for season 5 it would have looked cooler imo.

Would love to see more. Maybe some splatter brush effect? I feel like the repetition of "Hosted By" wasn't necessary. And you need to improve on the Text Color, infact, you need to improve on how to use text efficiently. The stroke made everything a bit weird. Likewise for "DOM" part.

Even though I really really like the little kid, the banner overall looks a mess.
The size of the banner is unusual and not in a good way.
The city in the background adds nothing but messiness to it.
I also do not like the font choice.
if you made the ‚Hosted by URBESE‘ smaller and put it over the ‚Photoshop Game‘ then cut the whole thing to the speakers and the ‚GAMEV‘ part, it would’ve been a lot better.

There’s a lot going on here. It’s almost at the point of messy, but not quite there yet.
The fonts themselves are actually really nice.
Maybe it would’ve been better if you put the slogan under the Photoshop and cut the whole top and bottom parts around the ribbon thingy.
It would’ve made the banner more stand-out and less ‚full-looking‘

My first thought after seeing that band/ribbon thingy going through the middle was like it resembles stickers on food products. Now that's not necessarily bad but it doesn't fit the theme here quite well imo. I love the use of different shades of blue though and the slogan/sub-title.

I think you shouldn't added that blue color on top side (similar to bottom). And I think you need to refine the setting in your Photoshop software because the text look very LQ.

Choice of color and Justin Bieber is unusual, but kinda works tbh.
The fonts are nothing special really and you also didn’t add any effects to them.
I would’ve liked the PS logo to be as dark as the stripes and the stripes as light as the PS logo.
Overall this is nice though and it does work.

Okay I had to look at this for a long time (maybe coz I was just sleepy) to realize that it had the photoshopped JB Calvin Klein ad in the background lol, that's clever. Although I wish the middle PS logo was as dark as the upper and lower bands and instead the upper and lower bands were more faint.

Loved it. It looks great. The only issue in here is that the height should be smaller. Say 700x250 would make this banner amazing. And yes, Those thick darker gray line should match the text. It doesn't look very centered in term of top anc bottom of the text inside that dark gray line. That is the only negative point in here. Love the simplicity in this.

Love what you did with the motion blur effect on your name. It is very well done and what I expected from everyone. Instead of the simplicity in the placement of text, you should try what BYONCE did. Placing THE in top and GAME in bottom. That would make it have a bit of "ooh" factor.

I love how the font glows and shines.
The font and color choices were really good, as is the shattered glass effect.
I like how you combined the colors blue and pink which is being done a lot this year.

I LOVE the shattered background effect. I also love the cute clouds and the shades of colors you used for that. The text again looks amazing and I love the glossy 3D effect. The shadow of the text however doesn't feel so right, it needed to be more crisp in some places and not that 'dense' in some other places, you gotta be careful when you're working with black shadow as it can get overpowering and put the focus off of the better elements.

Very "ooh" factor to me. The placement is very well done. But the text in "S5 Hosted" is a bit disappointment after seeing that amazing illustrated 3D effect on "The Photoshop Game" text. You should add a bit more. Like the vector of spider or slime to make it very interesting. That would give you a 10/10. For me, this is 8.5/10

The galaxy(?) background with the stars is nice.
The font choices aren’t my cup of tea. You should’ve used a font like ‚Big John‘ (Got that one from Phoenix ) for the photoshop part and a serif font for the hosted part.

Out of these 4 points more than half are for pure workmanship and for the fact that you at least submitted. It looks quite chaotic tbh and I don't like the random tilting of layers everywhere. You could have also used better font colors which stand out more against the background. Cute lil entry but you need to bring your A game from the next round if you really wanna play.

The photoshop font is pixelated but it’s probably not evenyour fault. PS did that to mine too.
Only thing that I would change is the font color of the hosted by text to either purple or gold.

The collage of the pics added some action which is nice.

I like the concept you went for and I love the new atrl theme colors so that's a +. However the images in the background could have been lesser and better arranged. You could have also merged the two main colors in the middle maybe. "Season" is almost invisible but I like the font you used for your name.

I appreciate your sense of humor but maybe this could have been executed a lil bit better 'cause it all looks kinda tacky. The horse/eyes/wig is fine and so is the lace (or whatever the silver thingy around the horse's neck is) to some extent. But the font and color choices are not so good. I like what you did with the PS logo and the shade of pink you used! The lighting effect and the lights you made kinda remind me of some of my earlier work and it looks great. Just make sure to zoom in more next time and make sure all the layers fit and no corner of any triangle is longer than required. Also another thing which I don't like is the wastage of space in the center of the image when it would have looked much more 'fuller' and effective if you made the text a lil bit bigger and placed it in the center.

This is the cutest entry by far! I love the holiday theme and the font styles. the use of shadows is good and the ball is really awesome and I wish you could have tried more impressive motions with it but I know how hard it can be at times when it comes to gifs so it's not that big of a deal as it's just the first challenge. It would have looked better if it was all a bit more bright and if the gif was more clear maybe but still it's a very good first entry!
