I can see them releasing the S&M starters before its release on Go to promote the games, as well as have you be able to transfer them to the actual games and they'd have their hidden Abilties or something.
It'd be actually neat if certain Pokemon from Go had new Abilties not in the regular games. They said you could connect with Go from S&M so that'd be some use for it.
Pokemon in Go don't even have abilities at the moment
