All concerts I've been to, though not alone, were on a school day so I always had to sit because I won't drive 2 hrs just to stand in the back because I didn't have the time to camp. I liked it because you were able to the see the whole show with the screens etc. and not just a small part of it. Anyway, it's true that you're less likely to get in a conversation when you have a seat. But it's not true that the people are always boring. I guess it depends on the artist. When I saw Muse, everyone was standing as soon as the first song started to play. The mood was spectacular. And even if this is not the case: I danced on the stairways during "Iconic" at the Rebel Heart Tour

no view was blocked that way

I would've done the same if I had been alone...
what I want to say is: 1. GO to the concert! 2. Don't pressure yourself! Do what works best for you and enjoy the time
