If It's Over wasn't a single. Well not from Emotion's, only the live version from MTV Unplugged.
It makes me so pissed because it really would have been such a smash and it'd for sure be one of her classics today probably constantly being covered on those talent shows.
I LOVE Emotions so much, and all three of those songs, but I truly wish it was given better treatment as an era.
Like, the three best songs on the album for me are If It's Over, And You Don't Remember and So Blessed, none of which were singles. Like
I feel like they're all more powerful ballads than CLG, however CLG is still fantastic and what it really comes down to is that there was just so much neglected potential on that album. Only having three singles released from it was simply a crime. It deserved to have had five-six singles released.
Lbr every song but two or three deserved to have been singles. Had that album/era been given its truly deserved amount of potential she'd currently be sharing Pedo's and Tity's record.
