The theme for Round 14 is...

Mood Mania



This round is designed to be a shorter round. Yes, I mean a round that takes less than a week. Fingers crossed!

You'll all be dealing with three different moods this round. I will supply a webpage that includes 100 different moods on it. You will each be assigned three moods (everyone will have a different trio). You'll find one song for each mood you were assigned and briefly explain your reasoning for each. This is like 3 pre-merge rounds put in one basically.

When choosing your songs, you should pay attention to lyrics as usual but also place an emphasis on atmosphere as the sonic nature of your song can make or break whether its a true embodiment of your mood(s).

Below is what each entry needs to have this round.

Outline:

Your entry should have all of the following:

1. 3 Track Names + Corresponding Moods - 6 Pts.
You'll obviously need to name the three tracks you choose to use. Make sure to note what mood each one aligns with. Each track will be judged out of 2 points each.

2. 3 YT Videos - 1 Pt.
Embed the 3 tracks you choose to use for easy access.

3. 3 Explanations - 3 Pts.
You will explain why each of your chosen tracks fits whatever mood you chose it for. This really is a brief explanation so don't feel like you need to fluff your writing up to be longer. You can totally write a sentence or two for each song and receive the points. One point will be available for each song explanation.

This adds up to a total of 10 points possible.

The same rules from the last few rounds apply to formatting. You can add whatever oomph you want, but it is not required, Y'all know the drill by now.

If you have any questions, always feel free to ask. Below are the moods you are all assigned. I really just went along and chose ones I felt could be handled musically and then assigned them randomly. There wasn't a process to it.
