Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Madonna are the mainstream women (and artists in general) with the best discographies. Stevie Nicks, Kate Bush, Lana Del Rey and Regina don't count for obvious reasons.

Why did all of Rihanna's other singles go #1 then? You wouldn't be saying this if it was a male artist and they had a female feature, or even if it wasn't Rihanna. They both contributed to the song hitting #1 - and it was Rihanna's idea/song, stop discrediting her.
Well she does in Australia. And I'm guessing also a lot of other countries outside of the US - if that's what you believe. Rih's starpower just keeps growing, I'm sure she's bigger in the US than drake, due to her longevity alone.
