All main series games are worth it.

They are if you are into the story side of the games. I wouldn't play it if you hate the dex, because you'll just end up dragging it like most people. If you can make a team that you like with all Unova pokemon it's good. (At least BW where you cant get any past gen pokemon. In BW2 you can)

I feel the same way. I was playing black 2 and gave up after playing it for an hour.

Grinding is an RPG staple, it's not even bad in pokémon. Except Johto, the levels are dumb and ridiculous there.

I think any main pokemon game deserves a full playthrough. At the very least, you'll be able to form your opinion on whether you like it or not.

Sis I know that but XY/ORAS spoiled me. I don't wanna bother with grinding in Moon.

This is my problem right now. I've never played the 4th gen pokemon games and I'm trying to finish Platinum before Sun and Moon. I just beat the 5th gym but its taking so much longer than usual cause I try to keep all my pokes nice and balanced.

B2/W2 are honestly my favorite games in the series (and I've been playing since Red/Blue). The story is great, and the Pokedex is pretty good too (most of my favorite Pokemon were available in this dex).

But opinions are subjective and someone will try to drag this post. I say give it a shot and see for yourself.

B2W2 are easily in the Top 3 Pokemon games.

About to challenge the Driftveil Gym so I can get the Quake Badge and then visit Relic Castle to get my future ace Pokemon, Volcarona.

Yeah, my main problem was the dex, this gen didn't just work for me very well (except the Ghost type ones, I love them all). I also don't like how the Pokemon got pixelated for them to animate them on battle, not that this is a defying factor tho.

But would I be lost with the plot playing this having not played B/W the whole way?
