Dahlia is obviously Arabic. The look of her battle facility, Medicham is a nod to arabic belly dancers and Dusknoir is a play on a genie with is also of Arabic origin. This made her my favorite frontier brain from the moment I saw her because before there were no obvious people of color in the games.

She's kind of amazing, to be honest.
She's also one of the two Frontier Brains from either generation that I've actually managed to challenge. She kicked my ass, I won't lie.

I'm so glad someone else appreciates her as much as I do. The Battle Arcade is so much fun. Ugh I need her to make a return. Can't wait for Sinnoh remakes.

It would certainly add some more variety to the locations that we've seen so far. No shade to Alola, but we've pretty much done the tropical thing before with Hoenn.
I've honestly never played the original Battle Frontier but I always wanted to because I was obsessed with Pike Queen Lucy.
She is literally one of my faves - and the only one I've ever beaten.
I feel like she's the easiest one to get to; the Battle Pike is pretty easy, especially if you get lucky with the rooms, and you only need to go through it twice to reach her. But because of the status afflictions and other things, whether she's easy or not is totally random.
Gosh, Pokemon could be so cool if they'd shake up the setting and plot. We could have something set in a Middle Eastern region or something inspired by Africa. We could have a setting in the distant future of the Pokemon world or decades past (imagine running into fan faves like Cynthia old and wise, or trainers like Pryce and Spencer much younger.
I want something really different in Gen 8 (even though that won't be until 2019 lol).
My RSE game clears are making me sad rn. So innocent. the amount of first stage pokemon
