 Alright: here's what happened...!
Dibbles won a rope in the thread's mini-game. While they weren't planning to use this weapon themselves, it was with this prize that the culprit was give a nefarious opportunity: a fall person to pin their crime on.
That fateful night, their target, Prismatic, happened to leave from the Library to return to their cabin... They might've escaped an early death, if not for the actions of another player: Tymps. called Prismatic back to the Library for a conversation!
Finishing this up without incident, Tymps. returned to his room, while Prismatic decided to stick around, a fatal mistake.
The true killer removed the extension cords in the Library and used them to snuff out Prismatic. They made quick work, dragging them out of the area and through the Atrium. Not without a trace, of course. Plenty of people heard them moving Prismatic's body.
While the killer was concealing the location of their crime, Jackson happened to stumble into the dark Library: of course he didn't find this strange, he had never been to the Library at night. He didn't know that the only sources of light in the Library needed extension cables to operate.
The killer in the meantime dumped Prismatic in the Study, returned the cables to the Library, and went to their room.
It was only during the next day, after discovery of the crime, when the killer would make a potentially disastrous slip:

Xedretinz Lododnz also heard something in the Infirmary that night. No one asked the one question that would've blown the case wide open, however: Why didn't the other person in the Infirmary claim to hear any noises?
Perhaps it was because they went somewhere else after leaving the Infirmary: to the Library, to dispose of Prismatic!
