Moonlight: 10/10 - Spectacular opener, her best in my opinion. So light and airy and beautiful.
Dangerous Woman: 10/10 - The song that saved the era. Thank god for this. (It deserved to be so much bigger though.)
Be Alright: 3/10 - Sounds like all the generic UK deep house songs that go top five there for absolutely no reason. Utterly basic and forgettable.
Into You: 11/10 - The best pop song of 2016 so far, hands down. Anthemic. If this doesn't become her first #1, it'll be a travesty.
Side To Side: 9.5/10 - A great, fun, cheeky song. Nicki's verse is funny (#dickbicycle) but not particularly strong. If she'd really delivered this would be a 10.
Let Me Love You: 8.5/10 - A little underwhelming, but overall solid. And Lil Wayne doesn't detract, so... that's good.
Greedy: 9.5/10 - GREEDAY
Leave Me Lonely: 10/10 - I've never heard a Macy Gray song before but I LOVE her voice. It works perfectly on this.
Everyday: 10/10 - I despise Future, but the "everyday, everyday, everyday" chant works fantastically, and even his verse isn't that bad. Absolutely love Ari on this song.
Sometimes: 9/10 - This song didn't immediately click with me, but it's grown on me a ton and I really like it now. It's so sweet.
I Don't Care: 6/10 - The only filler on the album.
Bad Decisions: 11/10 - Another song that should go #1. ****ing LOVE this. "Ain't you ever seen a princess be a bad bitch?" needs to become her iconic line. I can already see it on every basic white girl's instagram captions.
Touch It: 10/10 - Spectacular. It creeps up on you too,
Knew Better / Forever Boy: 9/10 - The transition is amazing. I'm not gonna lie though, I wish Knew Better didn't exist and it was just Forever Boy as a full song.
Thinking Bout You: 12/10 - I have no idea how she managed this, but this song... it just grabs you. It's perfect, and the production really shines through. That coupled with her vocals... wow.
Step On Up: 9/10 - The only good Target track.
Jason's Song: 3/10 - Ew.
Focus: 0/10 - DELETE IT FAT.
Overall, amazing album.
9/10 Hope she sees a lot of success with this because she deserves it. This is what QUALITY pop looks like (along with Lemonade, Anti, and At Night Alone) and everyone else who's released recently (or is planning to release soon) should take note. When the artist puts actual effort into all aspects of the album, it turns out great. I'm so happy that she took the criticism that we all launched at her after Focus and completely switched up her sound to create this work of art. Yes, it's "just" pop music, but this is proof that pop music can be just as great as rap, R&B, rock, or any other lauded genre.
