Trap/Hip-Hop is barely played at parties outside the US

International parties must be lame if there's no hip-hop.

EDM was the main party genre for a while though, at least where I go toschool. Hip hop was mixed in, but EDM was very strong as well

"On the Floor" was out at the same time as "E.T.", "Rolling in the Deep", (both of which were leagues bigger than it), "Just Can't Get Enough", "Till the World Ends", "The Lazy Song", etc.

Its #5 pop radio peak was pretty fair.

Regular parties are basically all about Cumbia and reggaeton in Spanish speaking countries

Unless you go to a gay club of course.

Clubbing in EUR is so much better than the US because for some reason EDM just brings it the **** out in people.

Yeah urban is cute in college basement parties but everywhere aside of the US is known for it's nightlife and EDM is responsible for that.

Every time I hear EDM at a party or dance, I get a headache and a strong desire to leave.
