Well it's doing pretty well on iTunes for a song that's so not radio friendly and it's probably doing the best of all entries on YouTube. I definitely think it won the semi so I'm not sure why Australia is so far ahead of it. I think people are just stuck on the conventional wisdom that a song like this is too dark to win so doubts are high.

There are rumours every year, they very rarely turn out to be correct, and if they do it's not because of some sort of insider knowledge but more luck.
I see you're not even talking about Italy. Does Francesca even stand a chance of ending top 10 ?
The juries definitely loved her, but the sound is a bit too good for Eurovision. It's very modern, in contrast to most of the entries this year which sound dated.

It really is the best performance she's done of the song, so I'm happy she was able to pull through. I think they should've done more out of the visuals for the song and kept the box from the Norwegian finals, even made it bigger like an iceberg or something. But what done is done, hopefully we'll come back stronger next year
