I'm pretty sure she's been recording for awhile now. We're just so used to Nicki being so vocal and tweeting her every move.

Wouldn't it be something if we actually got a good lead single this time?? When was the last time that happened.

I also hope there isn't a long gap between the lead and the album drop. That's so old school now. I say two weeks apart at most.

I agree with Roman Holiday & Seba. Lead single released 2 weeks before album release date, with a radio deal. To top things off, debuting the video the day the single gets released.

If Nicki does this, the lead single would easily debut in the Top 10

I don't agree with debuting the music video and the single on the same day. That only leads to a frontloaded single 90% of the time.

I've also noticed that songs get huge boosts when the album is released (Work, One Dance), but Nicki never has any hits out by the time her album is released.
