YAAAAAAAAS Jon

Pretty good episode, although I'm a bit conflicted on how they chose to bring Jon back so early. On the one hand, it felt sort of anti-climactic for him to come back just two episodes after dying, but then on the other hand, I understand the showrunners' desires to bring him back soon since basically everybody was certain that he was going to come back at some point, so delaying it would have been pointless and possibly distracting. I guess there was no perfect way to handle it.

Something I had on my mind though was (somewhat common book theory in the spoiler tags) that maybe Melisandre didn't actually bring Jon back, but that Jon had warged into Ghost right before dying and then warged back? They were focusing on Ghost A LOT in that scene, and it seems especially fitting with Ghost waking up from his sleep at the same time as Jon was revived. It would also fit with the reintroduction of Bran and the idea of warging in this episode

As a book reader, Ramsay killing Roose was an awesome shocking moment I actually expected Roose to kill Ramsay at the end of that scene since he's so smart and Ramsay seems short-sighted. But unlike Ellaria killing Doran in 5x01, which I felt didn't make any sense and ruined a character, I was satisfied with this since it's totally within Ramsay's character to do absolutely anything necessary to keep himself in power.

The scene with Tyrion and the dragons reminded me so much of the last Quentyn Martell chapter in the books, so I was lowkey worried for his safety

I swear, everything about that episode was perfect.

People need to talk about what Ramsay did more and stop acting like the Jon scene wasn't expect

I didn't want to say anything but he looked so ****ing hot dead.

Everyone expected Ramsey killing Roose, that was obvious as soon as Roose and Walda announced their pregnancy last season. I didn't think it was gonna happen so soon though. I was thinking it wouldn't happen until episode 4 or 5, same with Jon's resurrection.

Great episode - lots of things I enjoyed. Tommen finally owning up to all of his mistakes and taking charge by seeking his mother's leadership (though this will still probably bite the Lannisters in the ass yet again), Arya's storyline finally going somewhere remotely interesting, the dragons being freed, the reintroduction of the Ironborn, Theon heading out to reclaim his family and life, and the big reveal at the end.

I love it when Melisandre and Ser Davos interact - both great actors. Much better characters than Stannis.

I hate Ramsay way more than I ever did Joffrey and everything about him is starting to feel very shock valueish. He's just insane. I do not find him interesting at all. Roose, however, was very interesting but.. welp.

Who still has the most plot armor? Obviously Jon and Daenerys.

I'm getting worried for my Lannister faves. There isn't much protecting them anymore other than the Mountain.

Cersei should be fine for a while. She'll be around until Tommen bites it.
