And this single confusion for BEP is just a mess. Canada gets this, US gets that... ridiculous.
I think this should happen with single selection options to save confusion:

Worldwide, Europe, Asia, Australia, North America (only US & Canada), Latin America (Mexico, Central, & South America).

Since US & Canada are so alike that would make the most sense and save the confusion, meaning higher sales and peaks for the singles. This works since European hits are much different, unless the single goes WW.

This should've happened for BEP:

4th single: Imma Be (North America)
5th single: Rock That Body (North America)

These singles could also work WW, but I don't know what singles are currently popular overseas.

I remember the charts back then becasue I've been following them for a few years now. I was shocked when Gwen Stefani hit number one shortly afterwards because back then it was very rare for a white person to be number one, especially women. Hollaback girl became the first song to cross the 1 million mark in downloads.

for example i live in italy and bad romance is bigger than poker face here.. the fame peaked at 13 ..now with bad romance the fame is #4 (just saying)..i don't think it's the same in uk for example

I agree, but I think in general GaGa's most memorable songs are Poker Face and Bad Romance. Of all her singles LoveGame is the most forgetable, but thats just my opinion.

i meant that we can't now judge gaga career. she has only 1.5 album out and 4/5 singles out ..
we have to wait if she'll have other big albums or if she'll go away
