Very true. Beyonce was BB Artist of the year even in 2000 & 2001 (when she allegedly was a big deal)
How when she was in a girl group and yes a girl group that went pop and was played on urban radio as well and also didn't have album releases splitting unevenly between billboard years certainly helped but that doesn't change the fact that Britney is 34x platinum in albums in the states when she can actually go as high as 37
Here's the difference between Rihanna and Beyoncé. You know how you go to Costco during the weekend to buy your groceries and near the cashier area of the store, you have several chefs who are telling you to taste a sample of a new product for $1.29, but you don't feel like buying it because you're already going to spend over $100 on your actual groceries? This is a perfect example of Rihanna and Beyoncé. Rihanna is the $1.29 sample that people debate whether or not they should buy while Beyoncé is the ACTUAL $100+ that you spend on your groceries. NOBODY is here for Rihanna and her garbage $1.29 singles, while everyone is WILLING to SPEND their money on Beyoncé's albums and concerts (as proven by Lemonade being #1 on the charts at a price of $18 and tickets for Beyoncé SOLD OUT tour being $75-$695). Comparing Rihanna to Beyoncé in 2016 is just laughable.

If people are using 1.29 against Rihanna but for their faves when it's known that Britney was able to get more people to pay $15 for an album than the girls getting passed 100M records sold due to $1.29 singles and streams...

Just cause some songs are short doesn't mean it's all around lazy. Unless you're talking about some of the song structures as well, but they still work in most cases.
Prism did like 1.6m in a much better sales climate with enormous hits like Roar and Dark Horse. Love her but let's get real 1 million in sales is definitely not a given. Especially since she's getting older, lazier and it's been 2 years since her last radio hit (she's never been away this long and long absences are generally very bad for a pop artist's career)
I'd love for her to prove me wrong though
If she reinvents herself properly for KP4 she will increase in sales and success.
