No it's not. Since humans are pretty much the most well adapted species in the world it makes sense that the amount of humans continually grows. And no the amount of diseases gets smaller.
If you're talking about for example "why do more and more people become obese or get cancer" then that is due to the food we eat,the **** we put into our body and the fact that diseases evolve as well.
I suspected so but shockingly there are people who actually believe exactly what you said so you never know.
