I like the Beyonce album but like the world has become so hyped to give her such rave reviews for it. (idk why I originally put jaded, that's the opposite of what I mean)
4 is by far her best album and I think come a couple years it will be remembered as such. Lemonade is good but I feel it's Beyonce trying to hard to be edgy.
It's like she sat in the board room and said to a bunch of PR people 'make me cool,' and they said 'ok let's hire James Blake and sample Animal Collective'.
I thought this was basically what she's been doing for a decade
why has NO ONE answered my question from yesterday? has rihanna sold out an arena in the country she had a nine week number one in on this tour or not? or do people not want to spend more than 1.29 and a Spotify stream on it?
When you have the acclaim, the sales, the streams (45m from Tidal alone in less than a week!), 1.5m viewers on television, the stadium tour receipts, the press, and everything else, do you really need to be compared to anyone else?
