A serious, personal album from Godney. Maybe she would have pulled it off in 2008, but now no1curr anymore about what she went through so why would she exploit it?

Katheryn almost did alright with PRISM (the first half moves together decently and the last bonus tracks are cute) but she ruined it with the triple 0/10 punch of Double Rainbow, This Moment, and Love Me.

The rose-colored glasses must still be on for a lot of Beyhive Lemonade is a great visual and musical product, but there is no story. It's not really a movie. It's one of those art-museum projects that a first-year at art school would make on a $2,000 budget and loan to the local crap museum. As an album, it's good. As a pop culture thing, it's good. As an actual movie or artistic work in and of itself, it's meh.

But if she shares personal stuff about how she feels & felt (even if she doesn't write the songs, she can always talk with a bunch of writers about what she wants to say & then they can write the songs just like Beyonce does all the time & snatch a writing credit cause "she was the one with the idea") I think that would be good tbh.

I would be interested in listening/seeing what Britney has to say about all of that.

Totally agree, even though I sorta find Love Me cute, not particularly enjoyable, but cute.

Britney's A Mother's Gift is better written than anything Katy or Rih has ever penned.

I think people just don't care about her anymore.

She really ruined her legacy.

I'll be totally honest and say that I think the visuals do more of the heavy lifting for Lemonade than the music does. The movie is brilliant. The album sort of loses that translation because it doesn't effectively keep track of all the themes that the film introduces.

Britney stans need to understand that she NEEDS a reinvention. Whatever she's doing now is not making the cut anymore.

i agree, but I think the movie lacks a storyline or any semblance of a plot, which really just makes it enjoyable for the 1st time you watch it.

It's weird how much more Rihanna is respected than Katy.

Godney had the GP's graces and was given better free passes than any other popstars ever post-2008 but she blew it off. It speaks a lot of her legacy from pre/2007 but she wasted those good graces and it's too late now if she goes back to being a hardworker.

Barely any albums tell an actual story (well from the pop stars, at least), but Lemonade does.

Hold Up - Sorry = Bey feeling angry and unapologetic about everything Gay-Z related
6 Inch = Bey distracting herself from her problems by working 24/7
Daddy Lessons = Bey thinking about the choices she's made in life
Love Drought - Forward = Working it out with Gay-Z
Freedom - All Night = Problems are finally solved and back in love with Gay-Z
Formation = Back to her old self and slaying like usual

The rest of Honey is pretty good too! She's 3 for 3 good alberms so far.

Rihanna makes better music, so it is expected.

Yeah.. Lemonade really does come full circle. It starts with grief and anguish and goes through the ropes of coping and discovery until she reaches the conclusion of finding inner happiness with the struggles she's faced in her relationship.
