It's one of those art-museum projects that a first-year at art school would make on a $2,000 budget and loan to the local crap museum. As an album, it's good. As a pop culture thing, it's good. As an actual movie or artistic work in and of itself, it's meh.

Barely any albums tell an actual story (well from the pop stars, at least), but Lemonade does.
Pray You Catch Me = Bey feeling insecure and lonely
Hold Up - Sorry = Bey feeling angry and unapologetic about everything Gay-Z related
6 Inch = Bey distracting herself from her problems by working 24/7
Daddy Lessons = Bey thinking about the choices she's made in life
Love Drought - Forward = Working it out with Gay-Z
Freedom - All Night = Problems are finally solved and back in love with Gay-Z
Formation = Back to her old self and slaying like usual
