Hush was ok. I think they could've done something more creative with having a mute lead character, even having the entire film silent would be interesting. Instead it felt rather B grade (which I guess is fair since it's a straight-to-Netflix film). Also, I just can't believe a mute single female living in the middle of nowhere wouldn't have a gun. That alone was pushing my suspension of disbelief the entire time.
The Witch...idk man...it was good, but not my style really. A few scary and sad moments, but from start to finish it was just OK.
Even tho I knew what was going on most of the film, I still had trouble actually hearing what they were saying. The old English plus the mumbling at times made it a bit hard.
