It should've gotten at least a Grammy notification and outsold Animal It's so sad
It was handled so badly. The album was really disjointed to. The lyrics and melodies were all there but the production was too confused. It should of been more alt-pop/rock and less bubblegum pop and dirty beats.
I wish it was more in that vein...It just felt like a mixtape of what Luke wanted. It's weird how people said Kesha had no artistic growth from Animal to Warrior despite the fact her lyricism in songs such as Wonderland, Past Loves, Last Goodbye and ove Into The Light shat on the other "ballads" from A+C.
She honestly could've been treated more seriously as an artist
I'm convinced Luke has simply never submitted her work to be nominated. I mean she definitely should've had a nomination for the animal era for best new artist or Tik Tok. She easily fitted the criteria. I mean Fancy got nominated and that was basically the Tik Tok of 2014. I find it too hard to believe the biggest song of 2009/10 went unnoticed by them. He probably didn't nominate her as a way of retaining power over her. After all, I imagine a Grammy nominated/ winning artist gets more creative freedom, more production offers than one without
