My family member would say the same thing minus the drugs and I would agree, he's very intelligent and has a ton of potential but he changed into the person that you sound like and it sucks because he'll talk to me about this kind of stuff and I'll see his eyes light up and he'll be so passionate about it but all I can do is smile and nod because it's nonsense.
