Would you expect the government or whatever to come out and say aliens exists and have contacted us, or there is another realm, time travel, different time lines. There would be absolute CHAOS. Not if it wasn't a complete change in reality, and it was only a minor shift. Our minds could possibly recall memories that we held back and didn't think about until someone mentioned that it was different, or we noticed that something had changed.
