Kris 3 days to reach 40!

Can a song retire in like, 42 days? or 43? or 44? Or does it have to retire in an exact amount of days (40-45-50, etc, intervals of 5)

It did happen last 2007 to Just Dance with 62 days i think
I'm thinking i shouldn't limit it to intervals of 5

What do you think? will it be awkward to see a song retire at 43, 51, 67, or 106 days?
