Substitution literally DISGUSTS me. At the start, literally every other thing was 'haha, you thought you hit me! But haha, it actually a log!'
And they never mentioned how the log was substituted. Surely they'd need to carry it around with them? And the enemy would notice the other guy sneaking off?
And when I randomly watched Madara vs Hashirama they did it again and I wanted someone to die.

Chunin exams were great for the sense of escalation Kishimoto built but without abusing ass pulls. It's a really impressive arc in the way every fight was more badass than the last one.
Really wished Naruto would've remained at the same quality. The rest of Naruto until the Pain fight was mostly good, but everything after Pain's death was complete and utter ****.
Good think One Piece exists though.

What I will say about the Zabuza arc is that it did a great job of setting up the Bloody Mist Village, and they should have explored that/Yagura's reign as Mizukage more imo, rather than having it as a footnote so late on.

If Naruto would've ended at the Nagato fight it would've easily been a 7.5/10 for me.
Unfortunately it's probably a 6/10 in total for the complete and utter disaster of an ending.
(Bleach is 5/10, One Piece 9.5/10, Hunter x Hunter 9/10)

the anime is good but it has major pacing problems. Since the time skip, one episode is on average one chapter.
The manga, however, is absolutely incredible and probably my favourite show of all time.

Substitution replaces you with any object around you. You don't have to carry them.

This is a world where you can shoot fire and have fifty foot demon samurais as armor, They basically just did more magic. I liked substitution because it gave you the impression that anybody could win, as long as they planned it carefully enough and reacted quickly.
It would've been a bit complicated to keep it up all the way tho, so I can understand how it slowly disappeared.

I would have killed Naruto when Nagato died, stretched it out a bit with Konan trying to continue their legacy, and her death basically being the end, with a brief epilogue of Obito slaying. It would've avoided the war arc, and the fact that evil would have won would be great. But maybe I'm a biased Konan stan.

I prefer anime. Maybe i'll still give it a go in summer though.
Whats your fave naruto movies. Also did any of you ever read Fanfics. I remember being a messy 13 year old reading them (some of them seem so lame now too )

Actually that sounds pretty good. The only problem i have is Sasuke.
How i would make it.
- Naruto vs Nagato, Nagato dies
- Konan vs Madara (Tobi was actually Madara in this version), both die.
- Naruto vs Sasuke, both die.

Yes once nagato died it felt like they had killed off what they had built to be the villain of the show.
I was not here for Tobi/Obito and Madara. The whole war thing sucked, and it made the battles that characterized naruto into ****. Also the abuse of the Edo Tensei was a mess.

He needed to tie up the sasuke arc though.
I wish sauce would have come in and gotten killed by pain (Although taken on 2/3 paths), then naruto goes 9 tails everything goes on as normal. After he wins, pain realises ninjas can have peace and there becomes a treaty.
Tsunade realises she's too old for this **** (and too cool) and becomes a hermit like jiraiya was, and naruto becomes hokage.

You can still watch the anime until the time skip, it was mostly good until episode 516. Really, the problem starts after that episode.

I would've just let Sasuke die randomly because for the whole thing I got the impression he was really extra and didn't contribute anything to the plot. I get most people would hate it but I would live for his entire character to come to nothing.
