There's a difference between "what will [insert candidate here] do to support women around the world and what are their opinions on various women related issues?" and "Hillary has done a lot for women around the world so she's more qualified to be president."

Not everyone has had the same opportunity or platform as Hillary to work with these specific issues, and that should not count to their disadvantage imo.

Well now we know it wasn't through the actual Pope's wishes and there is a chance Bernie might speak at the Vatican and never come into contact with the pope. It's still a fantastic thing for Bernie, and I might have overstepped by initially calling it an endorsement.

I was sooooo thrilled when same-sex marriage got passed so we could quit talking about it... Guess it'll be a while before the happens.

MOST people were against same-sex marriage and had to evolve on the issue over time. Obama, Hillary, Bernie, my mother who now wants to go to a pride parade with me one day, etc. People evolve on issues naturally. This issue, in particular, had an unseen number of people evolving on it in an incredibly quick rate. Get over it.

If you want to criticize her for being hawkish, fine. If you want to criticize her for flip-flopping, fine. Just don't bring up this issue. It's such an awful criticism that's entirely lacking any valid, critical analysis. She has done plenty for LGBTQ rights before 2013.
