Omg... That quote is brilliant... Adding that YouTube video to my Watch Later...
It's this wonderful video about the impact of educating girls, investing in female health around the world and destroying inequities. It's why I said she's much more than just a politician.
It's videos like that on why I couldn't support Bernie. Until he's shown that he also cares about people (especially women) around the world rather than his isolationist foreign policy, he can't have my vote. Hillary is so rare. It is very unlikely that we will come across a viable candidate who actually has a deep understanding of the need to participate and help worldwide.
Bernie does the exact same thing though... That's standard...
You do realize the ACA has saved lives, right?
It has flaws sure... But never in history do you pass a perfect piece of legislation. You pass a ****** one and then go on to improve it to be a good piece of legislation. The entire federal government shut down over the ACA, do you think it was going to be a strong piece of legislation from the get-go??
So Hillary's plans are realistic (not more realistic because I'm not comparing) because....
a) they're moderate
b) she acknowledges Congress' issues
c) she's campaigning for the down-ticket
Am I understanding correctly?
About the ACA... it's definitely helped but there are still 30 million Americans that have no insurance. That's a problem, and I don't see any way it can fixed under the current system. We should be aiming for 100% coverage and I really don't think we'll be able to do with the ACA.

I agree. Bernie has consistently shown a complete and utter lack when it comes to the rest of the world. The fact that he has actually dodged a foreign policy question by talking about Wall Street just really turned me off. Hillary has done so much for people across the globe.
She's not perfect, but she would make an incredible president. She's the only candidate I would be happy about voting for.

Could you not make stuff up?
You can find plenty of videos on YouTube about Bernie (just like you did with Hillary) and see how much he cares about people (including women). If you choose to be ignorant then fine, but don't come in here with the blatant lies.

"around the world"
PLEASE show me what he's done for people outside of the US (outside of Vermont, really). I'd genuinely like to see.

Good job of taking what I said and trying to turn everything into a negative. I don't see why people have this negative stigma towards moderate approaches. Change in our country happens in moderation. That's historical fact. So, being aware of that and proposing something that is likely to pass within the confides of our government (you know, where the president can't just pass anything he or she wants), I find that highly attractive in a candidate.
Secondly, she acknowledges how to work with the Congress. Bernie wants us to reelect an entirely new Congress to work with his ideas because he can't compromise. That's an awful trait in a president.
I never said that, but it's a good point.

Hillary is aiming for 100% coverage, by building on top of it, rather than start an entirely new piece of legislation... Her approach is a lot more doable.

He voted against the invasion of Iraq, for one. Was a pretty decent thing to do in light of how things have progressed in the middle east and the situation the surrounding countries, as well as Europe, are facing right now.

Could you show me one? I tried finding one and I legitimately could not find one... Outside of the few times (outside of a debate) when he talks about Israel and Palestine, I can't find much about him showing much interest abroad.

And then voted to expand its (and the Afghan War's) funding the next year. #whichbernie
"My question is for Ms. Hillary Clinton who inspired me to study political science. Yesterday, Manal was on this stage yesterday talking about Saudi Arabia and someone asked her if she won't represent women in politics in Saudi Arabia, who will? So my question is, with so much inequality for women in America, as we've seen on this stage as you've talked about STEM education, So Mrs. Clinton, if YOU don't represent women in politics in America as future president, WHO WILL?"

That's a great thing, and in hindsight was a good decision. But Sanders also voted to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. So while he initially was against it, his votes for funding lead me to believe he supported it, even if it was in a smaller fashion.

Yeah, sorry hun. Not talking about general things or Senate votes. What has he done, SPECIFICALLY for WOMEN around the globe?
If you can't answer it, then don't.
This nonsense may have worked with the other girls, but not me.

That's besides the point! If y'all hadn't invaded them to begin with there'd be no funding to expand. I don't see how it's relevant because things were already set into motion by then.

But if he's always been so steadfast against the war, he would continue to vote against any and all support for it.
