It is not very explicit when it comes to gay sex or gay action in general. It happens a few times here and there but I don't think it is something a straight guy would find UNBEARABLE, let's say.
The characters are amazing and it is greatly written.
I don't really have problems with gay scenes in shows/movies, it's just Nip/Tuck's episodes about main character's son getting into a prison and becoming one of inmate's bitch really freaked me out. And there weren't any rape scenes

Video games have shite stories so it should be easy for movie writers to adapt them and make them good. I don't get why this is so hard, you can mold the original property into your own vision. Assassin's Creed is going to be good though even if the game series is trash.
I hope the Assassin's Creed movie will be good. Haven't played any of the games that came out after Revelations which was the best AC game for me (ACIII was ****ing horrible ) but the stories in AC were quite decent
