See, I think he would be better for a Secretary of the Treasury position, because he's more interested in those issues. Bernie would give credibility to Hillary among most liberals (which are becoming more and more common in the democratic party).
He doesn't agree with her on a lot of things but they both agree that a republican shouldn't win the white house. If both come together at the end of the convention I think most of the base will forgive what each other have said. It always happens.
Hillary has to please the Sanders' supporters at the end of the day and I don't see how she does it without picking him as her VP. And it's smart for him to stay in the race. That way, it makes it more likely for him as Clinton continues to run out of time to win over him supporters without him.
