She clearly feels special and pretty already. If anything, wouldn't being white make you feel not special, as the majority with nothing unique about your appearance?
I understand that many people of color do feel less pretty than white girls because of media representation and rude comments like the one made to OP. But if you already feel pretty, why hypothesize about how pretty you'd feel being white?

I did not. You may need to check your reading and comprehension skills, babes.
I have spent my whole life ducking comments like the one that I quoted. People who have tried to make me feel "unpretty". "less than", "neither black nor white", "the help or a child of the help", etc. Even in my field of study I have encountered people who question my research based on the fact that I am Afrocentric and Latinacentric. These individuals have failed simply because I do not wish at all that I could be like them, and I am happy with my heritage and looks.
My questions were precisely to see if anyone would feel like there would be some advantage to not being a minority. If somehow the ideas of a white and Eurocentric hegemony had in some way seeped into the subconscious of my people.
I am happy to see that the answer, in general is a loud and emphatic NO.
BLACK AND BROWN ARE BEAUTIFUL, SPECIAL, BRILLIANT, and IMPORTANT and there is no one that can tell us otherwise.

Thank you, Toya. I'm glad that it was only one person that apparently missed my point.
