The funny thing about this is Bernie is already expected to lose the Hispanic vote. The Castro comment isn't going to turn away voters that weren't voting for him in the first place.
He can only gain from tonight's debate.
It's not only hispanic people that can be terrified by that video.
Castro will hurt Bernie in FL but not much elsewhere.
It is true though that as time goes on Bernie looks the stronger candidate in the primary but the weaker one in the general. And when Donald ****ing Trump is most likely going to be a GE contender, the possibility he could just yell 'communist, communist, communist' over and over again until Election Day and scare middle America into a Trump win.
At this point, I really hope the Dems get their act together and follow Bernie. People are assuming Hillary is some clean-cut nominee - I don't think she will bring a strong showing against Trump, especially because I think Trump has a lot more dirt on her than anyone thinks. They were friends not too long ago and I'm sure that Trump knows some things about her we don't know - and more importantly, things that could be used against her in the GE.
He says what I want to hear, but it doesn't seem like he has an actual way of making them work. I think they're both ****, but I'll take **** and not getting attacked versus everyone's rights slowly being taken away and any of the progress we've made in the past eight years being erased.
Cubans aren't the only people who hate Castro. Americans aren't here for communism.
The Castro video seems to be the moment of the debate. I'm saying that as someone who didn't watch and is only looking at commentary and news articles. I'm honestly shocked it was brought up and SHOWN. That's crazy.
Cubans actually stood with Castro during the Bay of Pigs invasion. Not every Cuban hated Castro (at least to start they didn't). Pretty sure Bernie is referring to the regime change the US wanted there.
Don't try to spin this for more of your bs narrative.
It shows that he has not been VETTED because the Dems have agreed not to do negative ads and Republicans are saving Bernie's dirty laundry just in case he makes it to the general election.
