That is actually disgusting. This country is really embarrassing at times.

On the whole, Europe is more racist than America. At least in America, people actually talk about it. In Europe, it ranges from extreme acts of racial discrimination and alienation by violence, suppression etc to undercurrents of racism which is rife in Britain for example; through e.g. higher institutions like Parliament, Judiciary etc. the presumption because you are "black" you don't deserve to be in those positions like a MP.

Disgusting. I remember a black italian soccer playing talking about the racism and prejudice he experienced. So sad and he's from my home country.

This. Homophobia and racism are real in Europe. There was a homophobic protest in Germany yesterday. Not every country in Europe is the same tho.

This. You can't just generalise racism in a continent in comparison to a country. UK's experiences of racism is much different than Italy or France's let's say. And America obviously has to be much open about racism due to black people and being the biggest ethnic race living there and it's history to do with slavery, Jim Crow etc.

This part I agree with. However, I think that racism is scarce in my country.

An Italian member even said Italy is one of the worst tourist places for black people. I remember hearing Italy students bullying a black girl for having a high grade. Sending her racist notes. You don't have to live there to comment on the reputation a country has.

I agree though. When I think of racism in London, I don't really think of black people either. South Asians perhaps. Muslims, although they're not really a race. I had no idea Spanish/Polish/Italian people were disliked in London. That's new to me
