Until you're Secretary of State, miss me with this. I have nothing to discuss with you on this subject. If she wants to change positions based on new information that comes to her through her position, then so be it.

She's for some but against most, I believe. Regarding this one:
Quote:
Clinton had opposed the trade deal during her 2008 presidential bid, citing concerns about "the history of violence against trade unionists in Colombia." However, the latest emails show Clinton actually lobbying Democratic members of Congress to support the deal.
"I told [Michigan Congressman Sandy Levin] that at the rate we were going, Columbian [sic] workers were going to end up [with] the same or better rights than workers in Wisconsin and Indiana and, maybe even, Michigan," Clinton wrote in an email to U.S. Trade Representative and former Citigroup representative Michael Froman and her aide and former vice chairman of Goldman Sachs Robert Hormats.
Froman responded by thanking Clinton for her "help and support." Hormats replied that Clinton had done a "terrific job" and "GREAT line on Columbian [sic] workers!!!!!"
|
So idk, I guess she had her reasons for favoring this one in particular.

I don't care.
There's documented evidence of her stating publicly her support for certain agreements that she pushed for in the emails, anyway, so there's that.
This really isn't an issue I care about, honestly, and if it's the only thing that some people can nitpick in order to justify their illogical, seemingly uninformed, and irrational hatred of her - a hatred that comes despite her aligning with their favored candidate on damn near 95% of issues in the end - then so be it.

I mean, as we know with TPP, it's not like a trade deal just can't change between announcement and actual legal passing.

You called SC one of the worst states out of nowhere after she won. You called her a felon. You called for Bernie to run independent despite his own vehement opposition to that. You interjected into a conversation about "Mittens" and "the Grinch" to bring up her support for CPTA privately as opposed to publicly, which likely came about as a result of her being SoS and working on those deals, which change often. And this is just in like the past day, on top of a lot more.
Forgive me if the impression is that you hate her, but that's how it comes across.

You said you would rather see Trump win the election than Hillary Clinton... That's close enough to political hatred, in my eyes.

The SC/felon comments came after I saw how anti-Bernie the thread was that night. It was annoying. I already said the felon thing was a joke.
I want Bernie to run as independent because he's the only person I want to vote for; nothing to do with Hillary. And I still believe he has a shot if he does.
You guys were talking about the emails so my statement was valid That wasn't the first she changed her mind on a free-trade agreement either BUT that's not important and wasn't the point of why I said it. I was just saying that all the emails weren't her having fun.
I just find her untrustworthy. Outside of politics, she seems pretty nice.

From what I've read, she was against it because it was bad for Colombian workers. Then, a few years later, during the Obama administration, they added amendments to address these issues, and so she became for it.

Bernie voters have become freakishly fanatic They truly HATE Hillary. I've seen so many of them saying they'll absolutely vote for Trump against Hillary, that she's worst than him, that America deserves Trump as president if Bernie doesn't get the nomination... kinda scary.
