I never said he was a good alternative. I explained why people would choose him over her.
And I obviously haven't seen all of her interviews this campaign but from wha I have seen, there hasn't been any interviewer be so rude or constantly interrupt her like that man did Bernie.

I don't understand how someone could vote for someone like Trump, who is clearly just doing all of this as one of the biggest brand establishing gimmicks of all time?
He gives zero ****s about politics and its true aftermaths in society, when has he ever worried about those things?
I'll vote for Hillary in the primaries but if Bernie somehow gets the nomination, I rather vote for him than for that clown Trump.

I feel like if you told Bernie that you supported him but would vote for Trump if Hillary were the Democratic nomination, he'd call you crazy

Probably but a lot of his supporters were never Democrats to begin with.

I've said it numerous times, there are plenty of good reasons to prefer Bernie over Hillary, but we shouldn't let that distract from having a reasonable conversation about sexism. No, not all Bernie supporters are sexist, I bet almost all of them aren't. That doesn't change the fact that sexism is real thing. It certainly doesn't stop when a women runs for president. It certainly doesn't stop when a woman is rich and powerful either. Hillary Clinton still experiences sexism. Bernie doesn't play the gender card and has a great record on gender issues; however, he still benefits for being a male and having his only competition being a female. He's not trying to benefit from being male, but he still does. That's called male privilege. Similar to white privilege.
Hillary benefited ENORMOUSLY from being white in 2008, even if she didn't try to illustrate that she is white and he's black (some people argue that Hillary to intentionally play into racism. Do you all remember that 3am ad? but that's a different argument) she didn't have to. Everyone could see the racial difference. It's as clear as day. And Obama still benefited from being male. He admitted this in an interview a month or so ago. He said Hillary had to everything he had to except in high heels and had to wake up a 1/2 hour earlier to get her hair/make up done.
Don't get me wrong, I disagree with Hillary on a lot of things, esp her old record regarding LGBT rights. That doesn't mean she deserves unfair criticism. She still deserves to be defended from sexism. I disagree with Sarah Pailin, Carly Fiorina, and Megyn Kelly on just about everything. However, I will still defend them from sexism, because they don't deserve to be mistreated because they're female. What Donald did/said to Megyn Kelly was deplorable. Even Sarah Palin faced some unfair criticism. She deserved a lot of criticism and scrutiny, but there were some questions that were clearly targeted at her gender, for example one reporter asked if she was a bad mother for running for Vice President. Like what?
I get it if you don't like Hillary, that's fine. But to try to pretend to be objective and say Bernie is your #1 but Trump is your #2 that just takes so much objectivity out of someone's argument. I don't even understand how someone can not trust Hillary but trust Donald? He has changed his mind just about the same number of times Hillary has, except he changed it the wrong direction (from the point of view of Bernie being right). Hillary changed it to the right direction. I feel the same way when someone says they love Bernie, hates Hillary, but would vote for Joe Biden. Like he has the same god damn record as Hillary on all the controversial votes. You all like them because "they tell it how it is"? You are voting for a president not a damn reported. The whole "genuine" desire is a little silly to me. That's partly how George Bush got elected. He ran on a campaign of "who would you rather have a beer with?" Who gives a **** who you'll have a beer with?

Lots of my friends are dual supporters of Trump/Bernie.

They're "anti-establishment" even though one's a billionaire and one has been in Congress for 30 years.

Neither of those have anything to do with being apart of the establishment.

Glad you are voting Hillary! Don't listen to Marvin, if Hillary beats Bernie she will beat Trump. Though if Bernie wins I'm not sure he can beat Trump, so he might be right (only half kidding Marvin!)

It was interesting listening to TYT two days ago, and hearing an explanation about why young women don't see sexism as much as older women, and it's not just a X generation more bitter from past than Y generation.
Basically it goes like this: in their 20s, young women are in their sexual and physical prime. At work, their bosses, who are more likely men, will promote them and work more closely with them because which powerful man doesn't want to surround himself with young pretty women? As the years go by though, and as the women and men of that same company continue climbing the corporate ladder, the woman comes to be judged negatively for her age. Men aging = more wise and more competent, but women aging = unsightly, haggard, and screeching. Basically, young women who support Bernie and don't see sexism (and thus, don't see the significance of having a female president) are essentially benefiting living in a sexist system which values them for their beauty and youth, but will cast them aside after they've had some kids and packed on the pounds and wrinkles.
i thought it was a very interesting perspective, and probably true.
