If Katy were smart, she would take advantage of this situation by calling Dr. Luke out and vowing to never work with him again. Pen a heartfelt open letter and go on television to do a tell-all interview, shedding a tear or two. It would make her seem more genuine and could lead to so much positive press (as an ageing pop star, respect is the one thing she should be aiming for right now), setting her up well for her next era. Unless the rapist has some pretty damaging dirt on her, it's not like she would be losing anything by doing that. It would be the first interesting thing in an eight year career. The same formula won't work forever and there are much better producers out there. By leaving him behind, she will have done herself a favour.
