Taylor won move on and i really really like kendrick, but sorry 1989 was the biggest album of the year and one of the biggest of the decade, her voice was impeccable, she could have done an acoustic safe set like everybody else, but she didn't.
There being a whole head's worth of difference in their height
I mean, this is just nitpicking. This is about the album, not their performances, stay salty I suppose If music quality is only about the message it speaks, then why are the majority of these album nominated when they're about frivolous things
No, not really. I actually didn't really believe that Bey would win after I saw Beck being nominated.
Idk, to me it was clear that Kendrick would win in the rap categories, but there was no way in hell he would have beaten Taylor for Album of the year. I simply don't see the Grammy voters in that category going crazy about a record like Kendrick's. At least not when he is up against a catchy pop record by Taylor Swift.
2. A performance of an old "promotional single" featuring the guy from fun., only about 30 decibels of audible singing, and a set from your local children’s theatre production of Oz! (scene: Fighting Trees), shrugged off by LL Cool J with a puzzling remark about how at least she isn’t lip-syncing.
It was a very sad day for true lovers of music all around the world indeed when Taylor received the award she bought, only to further milk a publicity stunt for more attention. Her performance was dreadful, and her album was simple, vanilla, bubblegum pop that was made for tweens. I pity her stans who cheer over factory made garbage ...
This is why the music industry continues to go downhill. The only people who buy albums are old people/tweens (hence the only albums that sell being boybands/Taylor/Adele) and the awards are given to whoever buys them/whatever the big labels want.
