I don't know whether or not her political activism is genuine or not. I'm more relieved to see someone of her stature stature being a bit more vocal, albeit through an awful song, the message needs to be more publicized.

People should stop using celebrities (especially the ones are CLEARLY dumb as hell) as an avatar for their own personal beliefs. I see a lot of this with Nicki and Kanye.

Well, I would rather a person of a certain statuette using their voice or platform to speak on social and/or political when it's genuine. What Beyoncé is doing isn't, and no one is going to make me think differently. She's pandering, and that's why she's receiving some of the backlash she's receiving.

The point is you don't have to downplay what blacks are doing to speak out for another group. It's counterproductive and it damn sure isn't doing anything other than sooth your hurt feelings over seeing black folks stand up for themselves.

Take your own advice and get your ass from behind the computer and go fight for those disenfranchised Hispanics instead of waiting for Britney to snap out of her vegetative state or for black people to go away.

I don't remember her or Jay-Z being vocal about any of it, just a bunch of money being thrown around and a bunch of T-shirts being worn, but nothing on the level of what other black celebrities have done for BLM. I love "Formation," I "appreciate" the attempt, but I don't buy any of it.
