I could see her distancing herself a bit from him since she's aware he's a mess lately. Tbh, she's right (even tho I appreciate him musically very much). Unfortunately, he's become more known for his antics than the greatness of his music lately. Even Azealia Banks isn't as messy as him these days.

It could affect the middle America parents that thought she was just singing about being a single lady and doing choreography but honestly, they were probably turned off by ST already anyway. I'm glad this has happened. This is the true end of her appealing commercially anymore than she wants to.
