I don't want him to be president but Bernie is the TRUTH. he talks about the immense corruption in the US and I respect his fight to expose all he can about the horrible things happening behind the scenes in companies and politics. That is simply not true. If Clinton was not doing so well with black voters then she would not have huge leads in the polls that were taken which are based off of likely voters.

It's whiter than Iowa but if you add in all of the POC together you can get some voter information. You can't separate the POC's by race though lol you just won't have the info

one cool thing about my state: it's been so interesting in elections lately because it swings around so much. watching virginia is fun. i wonder who will win here this time? i see bernie stickers here all the time but my house is in the most liberal part of the state (northern virginia) and i'm on a college campus when i'm not there, so i guess that's not really a fair gauge.

I wish there was polling on this, but how many blacks will actually come out for Hillary? I wonder if the enthusiasm is there.

i don't think black voters really have anything strongly against hillary more than any other democrat, but as far as i know they don't really have any particular connection to her either, so i don't think she'll get more than the average amount.

Reread my statement. Polls are based off of LIKELY voters. Likely voters are ones that are likely to show up.

I did wish we have that number. But so far every state for both sides showed high enthusiasm. So we can extrapolate that it'll be the same across races as well

Bernie is a Johnny come lately. Even with those 2008 attacks (hence why it's significant that she never hesitates to praise Obama) Hillary is the devil black folks know. No amount of photos ops with mid-level rappers will help Bernie, in that regard.

Not to mention that black Democrats are, on the whole, more conservative than white Democrats and are generally pragmatic voters. They don't give a good goodamn about Big Bank populist bloviating, they simply want the candidate who has the best chance to win in November.

I still don't think race will be a big factor in this race anyway - most young people are voting for Bernie, and older people are voting for Hillary. Neither is coming close to Obama in the minority vote (obviously).

These tactics are exactly why Sanders hasn't closed squat with black voters. The blatant struggle.

That's not helpful data though if you can't break it down and say precisely what kind of voters does (insert candidate) have. The sample size is way too small as well to say well (insert candidate) has the minority vote based on 7%> that voted for them.

Nevada is next which is like 54% non-hispanic white (the lowest % so far), so we'll finally get a good idea with that 46%> of minority voters (if they do come out and vote).

"Revolution" just sounds cool to young voters. Frankly we need more than a revolution right now.

This is probably the first time I actually starting to genuinely think Trump could win.

I really want Christie to do well in NH just to prove his debate performance had a positive effect on him and not just expose Rubio.

I seen comment from black people, It's interestingly mixed on both Bernie and Clinton. But it's mixed general distrust of politicians.
