Regardless of what any Beyonce stan wants to say, Britney is the artist of the decade. She is the top selling artist of this decade, and has broken so many records it's crazy, when she goes to an award shows EVEN haters can't wait to watch. Just because Beyonce has been doing just as well as Britney for the past two years does not mean she is the artist of the decade. That's a stretch.

Destinys Child was a big part of Beyonces start. Britney started off of her own name.
Britney has released 6 solo albums, Beyonce has released 3 and has re released them so much she makes Rihanna look like an amature. Beyonce owes alot of her early success to collaborating with Jay Z and Sean Paul, Britney didn't collaborate with anyone to get an easy start, Not until her FOURTH studio album (Which like I said Beyonce hasn't even gotten to hers yet).

I'm not trying to diss Beyonce, but Britney has made alot more of a cultural impact then Beyonce has. Beyonce is huge in America, Britney is huge all over the world. All Bey's done is wave her hand in the air like she seen the ****ing Queen or something.

Beyonce may be able to shake her ass on stage, but she's boring and people have no interest in her outside of her career. And regardless of what you have to say, that's why Britney will always have an edge over her. Icons are made from there career and their personality, something Beyonce seems void of.
