They are married.....just to other other people now.
They divorced each other when I was like 7, so I don't even really remember them being together. My dad remarried a few years later, but my mother took a little longer. They are still on great terms, though. My dad still sends my grandparents (on my mother's side) birthday and holiday cards every year.
No. I'm happy my dad could find real love and re-marry, my mom will forever remain a bitter bitchand I'm sure she still pretends she's married in front of some people.

Yeah, they're still together, and have been for like 25 years+
And yeah it's rare amongst AAs. A ton of my friends' parents have split up, my cousins' dad is in jail, etc.
They have been married for 28 years although I don't really think it's going to last, my dad's an alcoholic and drinks constantly every night, got arrested twice, banned from driving for 2 years, crashed his new car while drunk driving, he's an asshole, I can't stand him.
