“Gran Hermano” produced by Endemol Shine Latino and licensed exclusively to Telemundo, is the first U.S. Spanish-language reality show based on the worldwide hit format Big Brother. The series follows the long-established template by putting 14 strangers together in a house wired with cameras and microphones for a three-month endurance test. Every week, the viewers will vote someone out of the house until only one is left to win the $250,000 grand prize. Giselle Blondet will host.

I caught the last 20ish minutes of the premiere and I wasn't impressed with the house but I like that most of the houseguests are over 30.

I really want to give this a shot but I'm not a fan of the international format.

If it gets renewed for a second season, I hope the network adopts the U.S./Canadian format.
