There are some great ballads from before she was famous but I can't remember the names. Don't get the insistence she had with making ballads for dancepop albums anyway.

The Edge of Glory is a midtempo ballad. It should count as one if You and I does. It's second to YAI.

And Beyoncé's ballads are mostly terrible, especially for someone with her voice.
