Yeah I remember that wendy clip where she broke down crying because madonna's son who was early pre teen loved her so much.
Usually teens aren't that close and happy with their parents when going through changes.
I have a feeling he's experiencing what a normal teenager not wanting much to do with their parents goes through.
And unfortunately all too often, there's another parent pulling the puppet strings as teens think they know everything but are quite impressionable
