Streaming doesn't mess with album sales that much.
Take, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, and such who sold terrible before streaming in albums. Now with Streaming their albums are actually doing something movement wise.
You also have Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and such who were failing to scrape 100K first week before Streaming, and are still essentially doing the same. Streaming didn't really effect their sales negatively or positively despite having a fanbase which probably prioritizes streaming.
Then onto success cases in album departments, Ed Sheeran has the most streamed album on Spotify ever and still was able to do a huge amount in album sales.
+ album sales are only down like 5% this year, whereas the decline is usually around 10% each year despite Streaming becoming a main way to consume music. The only thing Streaming is truly messing with in numbers that's undeniable is single sales lol. Digital sales are tragic.
