Well if you're white and you make the most urban song possible, then well you'll just be a joke. If you make a very urban song then it'll still be labeled urban-pop. Then of course if you're black and you make a pop song, people will still find a way to label it R&B as is the case of many of Rihanna's hits unless you make the song as pop as possible (in which case, you get labeled a sellout). Of course it's a white-black thing. This kind of bias doesn't exist for other races.
